Meet Dr. Tarik Husain

Dr. Tarik M. Husain embarked on his professional journey as a biomedical engineer at Siemens Power Corporation, before transitioning to the realm of medicine. Graduating from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles with a degree in medicine, he pursued his passion further by completing an orthopedic surgery residency in Hawaii. Subsequently, he dedicated four years of service as an Army Orthopedic and Sports Medicine surgeon during the tumultuous periods of conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan, including a significant tenure in Germany.

Following his military service, Dr. Husain delved into the intricacies of plastic surgery through a residency at the University of Miami, augmenting his expertise with specialized training at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. Establishing his practice in Miami, he has innovatively integrated both plastic and orthopedic surgery into his repertoire. Dr. Husain is renowned for his adeptness in training surgical residents, leveraging his diverse background to seamlessly transition between the rigors of orthopedic procedures, such as fracture surgeries, and the delicate intricacies of plastic surgery, like blepharoplasty and facelifts.
